An original vision of Oakley’s founder, "Pit Boss" was four years in the making. State-of-the-art technology wasn’t the
issue. It was a matter of art and style, and it became a relentless pursuit of perfection. Pit Boss had to be absolutely unique,
completely original, and as outspoken and assertive as the capos after whom this model is named.
The technology of "Pit Boss" is just as aggressive as the styling. It has Oakley’s stress-resistant OMATTER frame material with
ultra-lightweight titanium plates, forged at searing temperatures, and chiseled by computer numeric-controlled machinery with a
precision of 0.002 inches. For high-velocity impact protection, Oakley used hexalobular bolts to secure the plates with authority.
Oakley’s Three-Point Fit makes the frames comfortable even for all-day wearing while holding the lenses in precise alignment.
